What Kind of Vehicle Inspections do you Perform?
At North-Tech Automotive we provide many different vehicle inspections to help with the car buying process. Our mechanics are licensed by Alberta Transportation’s Vehicle Inspection Program (VIP).
Out of Province Inspections: These inspections are performed by our mechanics who are licensed by Alberta Transportation’s Vehicle Inspection Program (VIP). Most vehicles are required to pass an out of province inspection in order to be issued provincial license plates.
Insurance Claim Inspections: Are you considering a classic car? Our knowledgeable team can protect your purchase with our insurance inspection services. We can pinpoint issues that could lead to expensive repairs in the future. We also provide safety and powertrain inspections. Most insurance companies require an inspection for vehicles 12 years and older.
Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program: North-Tech Automotive is licensed with the Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program. The CVIP is an annual mandatory safety inspection program for any vehicle weighing more than with a registered weight of 11,794 kg or greater when operating within Alberta, or 4500 kg or greater when operating extra-provincially.
